After kicking off the live virtual event with an introduction to the company and its mission, Spectra experts dove into a hardware overview of Spectra tape systems, network-attached storage (NAS) and object storage solutions, covering new features and functionality as well as roadmaps. These sessions were followed by a panel discussion on the benefits of hybrid cloud storage using both on-premise and off-premise cloud solutions to protect data. “Spectra in the Cloud” offered key insights into the best ways to ‘control’ the cloud to maximize effectiveness. The morning also involved an overview of Spectra’s latest storage lifecycle management software, StorCycle, including upcoming releases, a live demonstration of the software, and a discussion on customer use cases in a number of vertical markets.

The afternoon sessions wrapped up a day of learning and connecting, and covered Spectra’s presence in the media and entertainment and high performance computing markets.
