Spectra Logic respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Spectra Logic collects from you online and how we use it. Please review this policy so that you understand how we manage the information we collect.
Spectra Logic only asks for specific types of personally identifiable information on our Web site. You may always choose not to provide such personally identifiable information; however, this may limit our ability to provide you with a specific service or particular content. For example, there are areas on our site which are only accessible by registering. There are a variety of forms you may choose to complete in order to contact Spectra Logic or to make online purchases. We may also have forms for participating in promotional offers or to participate in a mailing list. In order to participate in any of these, you will be asked for personally identifiable information such as name and address, phone numbers, interests, and more.

Information gathered on the Internet—including personal information or information about your business transactions with Spectra Logic—will not be disclosed, except as outlined in this Statement, to outside organizations for use in marketing or solicitation.  We will analyze and market through email, text, SMS, post, fax, live telephone call communications, develop web intelligence, lead scoring, campaign automation, nurture marketing, social discovery, form capture, and surveys. In short, we will use this information to respond to your comment, or to send you the information you requested. In addition, we may use the information to contact you with additional news about our company and services, or other services we think may be of interest to you.  In some instances, we rely on our channel partners to fulfill product and information requests, and to provide customers and prospective customers with information about Spectra Logic and its products. To do this, we may pass your information to them for that purpose only, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
Spectra Logic will retain your personal information for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law or you opt-out.

The application of Spectra Logic’s data sub-processor is hosted separately in data centers in the US and in The Netherlands. An agreement with the sub-processor protecting your rights in in place.
We may disclose your information when responding to subpoenas, court orders, government inquiries or legal processes, when establishing or exercising our legal rights or defending against legal claims, when performing contracts with you, or in other circumstances permitted or required under applicable law.

We may collect and possibly share your information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our terms and conditions posted on our Web sites, or as otherwise required by law.
