Spectra Associates Educate Students on Life and Business Skills

On March 11, 2019, Spectra volunteers spent a day at Eisenhower Elementary School in Boulder teaching kids through the Junior Achievement Program.  In particular, Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. (JA) is part of the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. The Program’s mission fosters work readiness, entrepreneurship and achievement skills in young students. Spectra Logic Sends Care Packages to Raider Brigade in Afghanistan

Over 12 percent of Spectra’s full-time workforce is composed of Veterans of the U.S. Armed Services. In recognition of their significant long-term contribution to Spectra’s success, the company elected to fund a program to support an actively deployed Colorado-based military unit in association with the 2018 Holiday. After contacting Peterson AFB and Ft. Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, it was found that the best applicable unit was the 1st Stryker Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division, also known as the “Raider Brigade.”  For over a year the Raiders had been deployed on a security mission to Afghanistan and were operating in some 30 Forward Operating bases spread over the country.
