5-Star Designation Identifies the IT channel’s Most Elite Vendor Partner Programs
 
BOULDER, Colo.—March 25, 2013Spectra Logic today announced it has been named to CRN’s 2013 Partner Program Guide, and was also awarded a 5-Star Partner Program rating. The company’s SpectraEDGE channel partner program was awarded the special 5-Star rating, given to an elite subset of the Partner Program Guide, for providing the best partner elements and benefits in its channel program.

The CRN Partner Program Guide recognizes those vendors who have channel programs and derive a portion of their sales through the indirect IT Channel. The list methodology is based on objective criteria that takes into account each vendor’s investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.

Spectra Logic’s SpectraEDGE channel program accounts for more than 80 percent of the company’s annual revenue. This past year, Spectra Logic expanded its program and increased the number of joint marketing activities for channel partners, including events, advertising and trade show sponsorships. The company also introduced a number of new initiatives aimed at supporting its partners’ growth and success including a mobile application that was launched earlier this month.
