UBM Channel’s CRN Magazine Recognizes Doughty for Channel Leadership

Denver, CO – August 1, 2012 – Spectra Logic today announced that Betsy Doughty, Director of Channel and Partner Development, has been recognized by UBM Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of the Women of the Channel in 2012. Honorees in CRN’s 2012 Women of the Channel list have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company, and the IT channel as a whole.  

Executives on the list were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine based on nominations and applications from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.  Criteria for selection was based on the role each applicant played over the past year in driving revenue for their company and the steps they’ve taken to evangelize the importance of the IT channel.

Betsy has led Spectra Logic’s SpectraEDGE channel program consisting of over 500 channel partners worldwide for the past six years. Under her leadership this past year the company has experienced 10 percent year-over-year reseller partner growth in the U.S. and has expanded internationally with a growth rate of 45 percent. In 2012, she launched EDGE Navigator, Spectra Logic's reseller marketing center, which hosts all of the company's customizable marketing programs including web, email, and mail campaigns along with virtual and live event plans.
