For the Second Consecutive Year, Spectra’s IT Service and Product Revenue Ranks in GSA Top 10 Percent
BOULDER, Colo.—March 2, 2009 – Spectra Logic Federal, a division of Spectra Logic, was recently ranked in the top ten percent of vendors listed on the U.S. General Services (GSA) information technology (IT) Schedule 70. The GSA IT Catalog research rankings are based on combined products and services revenue generated by Federal agencies purchasing products through GSA in calendar year 2008.
GSA is one of the three central management agencies in the Federal Government and approves products for direct purchase, to simplify the buying process for Federal agencies. The Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 was established by GSA to assist federal government agencies with their procurement of IT products, services, and solutions as needed to meet their agency IT missions.
Spectra Logic Federal and its archive and backup products have been listed on GSA’s Schedule 70 since 2003, under GSA contract number GS-35F-0563K.
"Spectra Logic Federal is committed to the specific needs of Federal agencies and leverages GSA to help ease the purchasing process of IT equipment for them," said Brian Grainger, VP and GM of Spectra Logic Federal. "Our continued success with the GSA contract shows the significant strides we have made as an organization within the hundreds of federal agencies worldwide."
