Spectra Logic Offers Entry and Midrange Libraries with Symantec Backup Exec Included

STORAGE DECISIONS, NEW YORK, September 27, 2006—Spectra Logic today announced it has entered an agreement with Symantec in which Spectra will offer Symantec Backup Exec 10d QuickStart Edition for Windows Servers with Spectra’s entry and midrange tape library products. The bundled hardware-and-software solution is available immediately.

Customers receive complimentary, full-featured Backup Exec 10d QuickStart software for one individual Windows server when they purchase any of the following Spectra Logic products: Spectra® T120, T50, T24, 20K, 2K, RXT D150, RXT D350.
